ES Grit in D.C - Georgetown.....  The Crazy Horse 1969

The following shots were taken at the Crazy Horse, on M Street, in Washington D.C. by an unknown fan who came to the club nightly that summer. He presented each member with a packet of black and white photos that he took of the sessions that summer.

The guys auditioned for one club, but got the job at the main club, and spent about 16 weeks playing there that summer. At one point, instead of taking off on Sunday like most bands did, they played two Sundays...which meant that they were on stage for 20 straight nights. A move that really helped tighten up the group...and wore them out!
